Dance

Carinne has been in love with the art of dance since she was a child. At 8 years old, she saw her first dance performance at a local fair. From that day on she knew that dance was what she wanted to do with her life. She started classes a few weeks later. Her love of dance continued, leading her to being the captain of her high school dance team 2 of the 4 years she was on the team. Ultimately driving her towards getting and degree in Fine Arts from UMKC, emphasis in dance of course. 

After graduating she pursued a career in dance at Walt Disney World in Orlando. While there, she performed in various parades, character work, and shows like High School Musical 1 and 2.

Her love of teaching began in college. Teaching at the studio she qree up dancing ,and also at a couple others along the way. Finally in 2013 she found a studio to call home here at In The Light.
