Cayle Orstad

Theatre

Cayle attended UMKC’s Bloch School of Business achieving his Master’s in Accountancy. However, his passion since a young age has been the theatre. He has been in musicals since he was 14. Starting as Oberon in a Midsummer Night’s Dream, Troy Bolton in High School Musical, Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Shrek in Shrek, The Baker in In The Woods, and much more. He has been teaching acting classes at ITL for four years.

​He loves it when a show comes together. His favorite thing to do is laugh and have fun with his students. When asked about what he wants out of his students, Cayle replied, “I find the most important thing at the end of it all is that the kids have come out of their shell, learn something new, have a better appreciation for the theatre, and put it all on the stage.”
