Chase OrstadFitness & Theatre
Chase started acting when he was just 3 years old under the direction of Dan Roberts at The Academy of Performing Arts. He participated in his church’s plays and productions and was an active member of the performing company Champions in the Making and founded Alternative Impact which showed teens how to party without regrets. Chase was mostly home schooled and private schooled until he came to Raymore Peculiar High School where he played many sports, led a Bible study and had many lead or supporting roles in musicals and plays, such as Froggy Le Souier in The Foreigner, Willard in Footloose, Kenicke in Greece and played supporting roles in The Curious Savage, Macbeth and Sylvia where he was under the direction of Todd Schnacke and Michael Beahm.
From high school he went to UMKC where he earned a Bachelors degree in Business from the Bloch School and a minor in theatre from UMKCs theatre department. Chase has worked in youth ministry, the service industry, commodities, sales and teaching at In The Light for the past 11 years where he has taught theatre, acting skills and ITL sports and fitness. Chase married his high school sweetheart Tara Orstad. They have been married for 11 years and together have 5 children―4 girls and 1 boy. They currently live in Belton, Missouri. |
