Getting an A for effort in Home Economics class, Michelle’s desire to sew was much larger than her ability. As an adult she began looking at it in a more simplistic way that she understood. Working at JoAnn fabrics for 5 years she was surrounded by mentors, and developed her own window treatment business. Michelle has a degree in fashion merchandising, which extended her knowledge of fabrics, design, etc. Most recently Michelle worked at Hobby Lobby for 5 years and was able to offer her knowledge to customers on a daily basis. She has homeschooled 4 children for the past 14 years. Michelle enjoys anything creative and believes if you have a desire to do anything, your ability will catch up.
