Tami IngallsTumbling + Cheer
Tami was a gymnast for 12 years competing in state competitions with her high school, Shawnee Mission East. She changed her athletic career to become a diver and finished her high school career as a top 12 diver in the state of Kansas. Cheerleading was also a love of hers accomplishing the title of UCA Cheerleader for two years in a row. After becoming an elementary school teacher, earning her degree through Kansas State University, she coached gymnastics with McCracken Gymnastics for 2 years and coached diving with Homestead Country Club where she led her team to win MOKAN Swim and Dive Championships for 10 out of 12 years. She also coached the Blue Valley West Highschool Boys and Girls Diving team for 6 years, coaching the top two divers in the state of Kansas as well as many other state qualifiers and top 12 divers. Tami was a school teacher for 15 years, earning her masters degree from Emporia State University in school counseling and finished her career in public education as a counselor for two years at Peculiar Elementary. She lives in Peculiar with her husband Ted and has been homeschooling her son Truitt (age 8) and daughter Taryn (age 6) for 3 years. She loves serving and building relationships within the Peculiar community, and thoroughly enjoys working with other children as they grow in their character and recognize their potential in their athletic and artistic pursuits.
